Information

I have purchased a 2B/2B condo on the beach in Puerto Vallarta overlooking the Bay of Banderas.  For those familiar with Puerto Vallarta it is in the Romantica Zone, in the same building as Daiquiri Dick's  Restaurant, on the sixth floor, surrounded by good cafes and restaurants, right on the Malecon.  For those not familiar with Puerto Vallarta, now is the time.  AARP magazine (35 million readers) selected Puerto Vallarta as the #1 place in the world for retirement
Some miscellaneous info about Puerto Vallarta:
You can drink the water...it is clean!  The locals are friendly, friendly, friendly and helpful - many speak English.  There is (almost) no drug traffic and very low crime rate.
The flight time from SF is approximately 3 1/2 hours non-stop to a clean and modern airport.  It will cost you $20 for a small or large taxi to town.  (Regulated but like everything you buy...try for less.)
High season is 10/15 - 4/15...really pleasant.  In between - HOT but most restaurants, etc. have AC.  You are surrounded by real jungle on three sides... beaches and the beautiful Bay of Banderas on the west with many, many activities and adventures on land, sea, and air offered by vendors.
Restuarants with international fare, flair and acclaim...or simple Mexican dishes prepared by mom and pop, served on a patio or under a beach palapa.  Shopping everywhere from beach vendors to fine jewelry, etc.  Hone your negotiating skills.  Hotels of course - all prices
Walk on the Malecon.  Enjoy free entertainment.  Explore Old Town.

Add it all together and it's why 60,000 expat US and Canadians live in Puerto Vallarta 6 to 12 months a year.  Try it.  You'll like it.  I love it!
